I'll be taking advantage of the long Memorial Day weekend to take a nice break. Plan on getting in some fishing (perfect time for thinking and dreaming) and a few other things to relax. I'll have my notebook and trusty pencils for writing. I'm having fun with this one.
Wednesday, May 30th Lisa Brackmann will be my guest. Monday, June 4th will be my Insecure Writers article. Wednesday, June 6th historical author Donna MacMeans and on Friday, June 8th I will have Joanne Kennedy.

Last year I was in Washington DC for Memorial Day, it was a fantastic day.
Back home in the UK this year.

Yvonne--I've been to DC during Memorial Day and it was something. I love being there during the 4th of July--fireworks are phenomenal. DC area (Maryland) was basically home base for my family, growing up.
Candi--absolutely. You have fun too. I also plan on doing some writing. I need to finish up this MS or at least close.
Enjoy the time off! As for me, I'll just just be hanging out. We'll have steaks on the grill this weekend, and potato salad and corn on the cob to kick off the summer!
Oooh, a good potato salad. I haven't had potato salad in a while, Yum. It all sounds good at your house.
